We’ve been in business officially for 10 years! This is a very exciting milestone for us and we have loved every moment of it! It’s a dream come true to own a small business doing what we love. JEAN JOHNSON - OWNER & LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER

Jean loves capturing special moments both in her personal and professional life.

“I am a lover of people and everything art, especially photographic art. I’ve had a camera in my hand since the age of five, when I received my first camera for Christmas. My parents were both avid photographers, painters, and professional architects. They taught me about art, design, and photography from a time earlier than I can remember. And although, I have my Bachelor of Sciences degree in Interior Design and practiced Interior Design professionally, photography has remained my first love. The time spent between my Interior Design career and opening my full time photography business in 2009 were spent raising my three children and focusing on the blessings of being a mom. My grown children called me “Mamarazzi” while they were growing up and I’ve embraced the nickname. Photography is an art form that connects history, emotions, legacy, story, and relationship all by freezing a moment in time. It’s a calling I can’t ignore. Helping people preserve their family story is a privilege and my dream come true.”

Emily loves helping behind the scenes and making people feel special in front of the camera.

“Growing up, I always took my mom’s gift of ‘capturing the moment’ for granted. Every vacation came with at least one camera, our ‘patience caps’, and a lot of sassy eye rolls as my mom shot away. As an adult, I couldn’t be more grateful. Working with my mom is a true gift and great learning experience. I never thought my day job would be this fun or rewarding. I’m thankful to have the opportunity to help other families capture their memories to cherish forever just like mine.”
