1. DESIGN CONSULTATION

It is essential that we understand how to best serve you. You know you need portraits, but what will you do with them? We start with the end in mind.

During your consultation, we’ll get to know you, create a vision for your portraits, and plan for the prints in your home. We’ll discuss location ideas, clothing choices, and create a shot list. We’ll also go over our process, pricing, and heirloom products. It’s our joy to not only be your trusted photographer, but to help preserve your family story by creating fine art prints for your home.

2. PORTRAIT SESSION

We know portraits can feel stressful no matter the season of life your family is in… Maybe Dad isn’t fully on board, mom is worried about the kids getting dirty, and the dog is just here for the treats. As professionals and family ourselves, trust us when we say, “we get it”!

Our portrait experience is designed to be fun, to play games, and to create genuine laughter. By meeting for a consultation prior to your portraits, it helps us understand your family’s personalities and learn the best way to serve you! Our job is to create an amazing experience. Your job is to show up, relax, and remember how much you love these people (who sometimes drive you crazy)!

3. ORDERING SESSION

Approximately one to two weeks after your portrait session, you’ll return to the studio for your ordering appointment. This is when we finalize your portrait order based on the vision and goals from your design consultation. It is important that any and all decision makers are present!

Using our design software, we’ll help you choose your desired portraits, lay out the perfect album, and select galleries scaled to fit your walls. Specializing in fine art prints, we partner with top print labs to offer unique, archival-quality products, papers, frames, and more. We’ll guide you through every design decision to make your prints unique and personalized for your family.

4. PRINT DELIVERY

There’s nothing quite like witnessing our clients open their prints for the first time. The emotion captured in a single piece of art is incomparable when it’s of your own family and displayed in your own home.

Once it’s on the wall or resting on the coffee table, the only thing left to do is enjoy! Every family’s history deserves to be documented and remembered for generations to come—and yours is no different.
