INTRODUCING OUR... 1ST YEAR BABY PROGRAM

During a baby’s first year, they change so much. Every couple of weeks is a new milestone of learning and growing. Our First Year Baby Program is designed to photograph your baby throughout four different seasons all before they turn one. We begin with weeks after they’re born and end the year in celebration of their first birthday and a cake smash! It’s the perfect, most modern way to create a baby book and document how much they’ve grown.

NEWBORN:

Newborn portraits are best within the first two weeks of birth. This session is for remembering the baby in their smallest stage. Typically, the baby sleeps during this session while we ease them in and out of different poses. We love photographing both naked portraits and baby wrap or blanket portraits.

TUMMY TIME:

We usually schedule Tummy Time around three months, although this is dependent on every baby. Once they can lift their head up while on their bellies and before they’re rolling over confidently. It’s the perfect stage to photograph their beginning interactions with what’s around them. They’re learning quickly at this age and we love singing songs and rattling toys to get their attention and the perfect shots.

SITTING UP:

Sitting up generally happens anywhere between six and nine months. We want to photograph the baby when they can confidently sit up on their own, but before they are crawling away from everyone and thing. This session is always so fun to see how the baby has grown and it’s the first session that we really start to see their personalities shine in their images.

CAKE SMASH:

First birthday sessions are such a celebration! We like to plan this session as close to the baby’s first birthday to really document how they are at one year. We provide a small cake and start with photographing them in an outfit of your choosing and end with a messy cake party! We’ve either had cake smashes in clothing or in diapers, which is entirely up to you.
